HIROTAKA HÔKI NO KAMI [MEIREKI 1655 ECHIZEN] SHINTÔ CHÛJÔSAKU

He is in the Echizen Shimosaka Ha, and (he received the title) of Hôki no Daijô and later Hôki no Kami.  His style is close to that of Harima no Daijô Shigetaka nado.  (Wazamono)

Signatures:            ECHIZEN JÛ HÔKI NO KAMI SHITAHARA HIROTAKA

                                HÔKI NO DAIJÔ HIROTAKA

This Hirotaka comes in an older polish that is very clean.  All the work can be seen clearly.  The hamon has very nice activity and the hada is very tightly forged. This sword has no flaws and is well made by a chujosaku rated sword smith.

KOSHIRAI
