The incredible amount of activity in this gunome-chogi hamon is magnificent. This hamon hamon has an deep look to it and is not done in a flashy way but in a very elegant style. The hada is finely forged and the hada has beautiful deep milky look to it. This katana has no flaws and the shape shows a very nice tori-sori.

Mounts are held together with a wood tsunagi. The mounts are in great condition also.
NTHK PAPERS
This sword has recently received a passing Kanteisho paper at the September Shinsa. The sword comes with the NTHK preliminary work sheet and a personal guaranty from Nihonto Antiques that these papers will be forwarded to the new owner the moment we receive them. This should take approximately two months.
The papers attribute this sword to be made by Ishido school Yasuhiro from the Jokyo (1684) period.
