KANESADA AIZU [ANSEI 1854 IWASHIRO] SHINSHINTÔ JÔSAKU
He is the tenth generation Kanesada of Ôshû, is called Furukawa Ômi, and even though this smith is said to have assumed the name of Izumo no Kami, this seems to be due to a confusion with the eleventh generation. His works extend from the end of Bunsei to Bunkyû, there are many with a good form and a beautiful hada, and the hamon is sugu nado.
