NAOKATSU
NAOKATSU SÔJI [ANSEI 1854 MUSASHI] SHINSHINTÔ JÔJÔSAKU
He served the house of Akimoto of Jôshû Tatebayashi. At first he was called Kazusa Jirô and later Jirôtarô, and he lived in Edo Shitaya. He became the adopted son of Naotane, and he died on Ansei Gonen (1858) Shichigatsu Nijûninichi (7/22) at the age of 54. Naokatsu died in the year following the death of Naotane. His works are mostly saka gonome ashi iri, and there are also some which have the nie fukai of the Sôshû Den. He is evaluated higher than Naotane.
