This katana made by masamichi is extremely beautiful.  The quality of this sword is just superb.  The hamon has many hataraki and is very pleasant looking.  The sword has muneyaki (temper in the mune) and very healthy gunome hamon with an abundance of activity.  The sword is long, healthy and sound.  it has no flaws at all.  In hand it feels like a very strong sword with a nice shape to it also.  The Masamichi is in an excellent polish and very enjoyable to view under the proper lighting. The hada is large itame and is very nice looking with a milky appearance to it.  This Masamichi worked in the shin-shinto period and this sword's size and shape is an excellent representative of a shin-shinto era katana with the added bonus of it being very well made.
