Signatures: OITE RAKUYÔ ITÔ GONZAEMONNOJÔ HIRONOBU
ITÔ YAMATO NO KAMI MINAMOTO HIRONOBU
This is a very well made Hironobu wakazashi. His long signature is Kawach no kami fujiwara minamoto hironobu and also engraved a kiku on his nakago. The hada is very clear and beautiful. One small area has a little course hada but it does not detract from the overall quality and beauty of this sword. The hamon has an abundance of hataraki. Ashi, kinsugi and sunagashi are very visible. The gunome choji hamon is well made and this type of hamon is enjoyable to view when studying this sword. It is in a good polish and comes with a new shirasaya. Overall a solid wakazashi that is well made.
